| Beautiful Bert E. Loeb Stadium, part of the
Columbian Park
complex in Lafayette has served continuously as the home of the Colt World
Series since 1973.
The stadium has a seating capacity of approximately 3,500 with plenty of
standing room. A natural infield is surrounded by 150 lights on eight
high towers surrounding the field for excellent night playing.
Surrounding the stadium are the
Tropicanoe Cove water
complex and the
Columbian Park Zoo. Over the left field wall and across the
street are Lafayette landmarks
Arni's (famous for pizza) and
The Frozen
Custard (famous for Ice Cream).
